Christmas lunch in the archipelago
Hovedvejen 10, 5602 Avernakø
Experience a unique and quiet Christmas lunch on the beautiful island of Avernakø, where both children and adults are welcome. Our **"Christmas Lunch in the Archipelago” ** is an alternative to the traditional celebration with a focus on coziness, nature and presence. We value the good mood more than the number of empty schnapps. The tree is decorated and there is picky about the food. As a larger group (10+ people) you have the opportunity to book the entire event, by contacting us directly.
-
Take the ferry from Faaborg and feel your shoulders lower as you arrive at Avernakø. The day starts with a guided walk where our guide will take you around the island and tell you about its history and atmosphere. After that, Christmas cheer awaits for the huge gold medal with mulled wine, hot cocoa and Christmas puff, followed by a delicious, classic Christmas lunch. We end the day with a fun Christmas banko with delicious prizes, after which the trip goes to Ø-Færgen, which sails you back to Faaborg. As an alternative to the Christmas banko for the children, a walk with headlamps can be arranged around to say good night to all the animals in the Garden.

About Avernakø Landhotel
Avernakø Landhotel strives to create unique and memorable experiences for our guests through sustainable operation, personalized service and authentic nature experiences. We are dedicated to providing a haven from everyday life where guests can relax, rediscover nature and create lasting memories with loved ones.
We are located in the heart of the UNESCO Global Geopark The South Funen Archipelago, which tells the story of a dramatic sea rise at the end of the last ice age, and how the ice created a very special landscape that has defined the nature and culture of the area for 10,000 years.
We love our Geopark and therefore the tours here are also themed around the islands and nature which is definitely worth experiencing!
