Will you cycle through the beautiful landscape shaped by the Ice Age on our bikes, fry pancakes and pop popcorn over bonfires or explore the coast with our Hug the Crab gear? There are many possibilities - even for adults who want to explore the island in peace and quiet. You will enjoy a delicious lunch at Avernakø Landhotel with free choice from the menu. The hotel's closest neighbors are playground, multifield, soccer field, and grocery store. **So pack your backpack and join us on an unforgettable island trip! **

Program

**10.00: ** Departure with the island ferry to Avernakø. The ferry trip is a unique opportunity to experience Geopark up close, as the boat trip takes you past Dyreborg, Bjørnø and is located on Lyø on the way to Avernakø. Maps and various materials of the area can be found on the ferry.
**11.10: ** Arrival in Avernakø: At the Port of Avernakø you can rent bicycles or just stroll the beautiful walk of 1.5 km up to the hotel from the port where you will stop by Avernakø Grocery Store. Bicycles can also be rented at the hotel.
**12.00 - 15.00: ** Lunch is served and you can choose freely from our varied menu. For children we have delicious children's dishes.
**15.10 or 16.30: ** Departure from the Port of Avernakø with the island ferry towards Faaborg with arrival in Faaborg at 15:40 or 17:40.

Practical information

Ferry Ticket - Your ferry tickets will be attached to an email we will send to you. There is a barcode that the ferry staff must scan when you board the ferry in Faaborg. It is a good idea to be in good time for the ferry.
Bike rental - The bikes can be rented for 50, - per piece and can be picked up/dropped off freely at one of the 3 bike stations on the island. Avernakø Havn, Avernakø Landhotel or Korshavn Bridge. Payment by MobilePay or by cash/card at Landhotell
Hug the Crab - Contact us for dispensing gear from the tackle base. Price: 25, - per person
